Here's the quest to find the UK's all-time favourite Barenaked Ladies tune.

Maybe something off Gordon is your favourite song - or maybe a track from All In Good Time gets your vote?

Here's where you find out! The guidelines are as follows...

- Every released BNL song and a few extra will go head to head to find the most popular song by the Ladies. We will be eliminating the songs down to the top 64 and then it will be a straight knockout to find the champion.

- This is how it will work: each album will have its own poll to find your favourite songs, so you will be voting for your favourite Gordon song, then MYSD, BOAPS etc, 11 albums, 1 extras section, 12 polls in total.

- The Top 5 from each poll will advance, plus the 4 best losers from across all albums ('losers' with most votes).

- They will then all go into the pot for the last 64 draw (which will be seeded), then songs will go head to head, until we have 1 winner.

- Voting for each album stays open for 2 weeks. However, a new album will be added each week, leaving a voting overlap for those not-so-regular posters!

Voting for Gordon will begin shortly. Over to our friend Gib to take us through the tournament.

Get involved, get voting! :D

(before we start: any questions?)

I guess it's similar, but it's to see what the UK's favourite tune is. ;)

Perhaps they'll play the winner at each show of the tour...

(unless it's Break Your Heart :P )

Indeed, .net's was a "march madness" tournament in which individual songs were against each other, but not necessarily within the same album.

Actually, I like this one better because it's within the album itself. :)

How unfair this is - Can't we just have a fav BnL tourney no matter where you're from? (I'm not from the UK.- I guess that means I can't vote.)

No, you're welcome to vote no matter where you're from.

I've always said that this is a forum aimed at UK & European fans, but not exclusively for them. Vote away.

Welcome, by the way.

We have Germans, Swiss, Americans, Canadians, French... all in BNLUK... everyone is welcome. Nothing 'unfair' here. Everyone is welcome to vote!

I think Liam would look quite fetching in a white sheet and pillowcase combo
