Brilliant, the instant photo came out great, best £30 I've ever spent that.

You should post the video of your dad playing, I'd love to see it.

It's as simple as to say that I've/we've been very lucky and managed to get on well with Ed enough over the last tour and especially this to ask if my dad could go in on soundcheck. We kept the secret from dad right up until the moment we went in thru the side door at 4pm yesterday.

Is it not fact that BNL have a tendancy to mark moments in your life you would gladly return to and never forget? This last week or so has been like that. Well we chatted after the sound check and I said dad was a pianist and Kev said to have a go on his set up........so he did! Kev sang along, posed the soft toys for photo's, got in on a photo himself and was very complimentary to dad on his playing and that he should have said he could play earlier! I noticed Pete from Joel Plaskett came out to listen and applauded too, it was fantastic! I wish recorded it all.

It's all a bit surreal, I hope I come across as truly humbled to have been treated as well as we have by the guys. We do feel very privileged.

Here's the photo after the b'ham gig ed took, anyone on it?
i love the photo and got it signed yesterday :)

I know your Dad was still struggling to believe what had happened to him when we left. What other band on the planet could that possibly happen with?

Exactly, one of the best bits of any BNL gig is seeing everyone so happy after it, smiles everywhere. They are unique.

I love it. I'm getting it framed and had it signed and dedicated to my friend next to me for her birthday from Ed. :)

I'm glad you like it :)

Unfortunately I can't do any more, the students are back at uni and someone has to teach em!
I'd love to do Glasgow one day but the 3 gigs this time will have to do......

Although Ed said it could possibly be another 3 years, he didn't totally rule out in a years' time, or even some festivals.

Wish I could afford S&D or even a trip to Canada.

Ah well!
