Great show in Brighton tonight, and as Ed said 'small but appreciative crowd'. (and I found out about this site!)

Looking forward to Hammersmith on Wednesday even more now!

Really great show tonight :) I was personally amazed how good it all sounded even though Steven left (but maybe thats just me being sceptical!)

Also, HOW good was Alcohol?!

Setlist is on this site elsewhere!

I thought they were phenomenal last night. I was worried that there would be a Steve sized hole, but the other guys all grew to fill it. Kevin and Jim stopped doing their shy guy act and came to the fore, and as for Tyler- he should be suing Jack Black for stealing his entire act without permission!

Musically brilliant, and such entertainment throughout- I still have a sore jaw from being forced to grin from ear to ear and laugh uproriously for two hours. But where the heck was everybody? Brighton a couple of years ago, packed- last night, half empty. Great crowd, but such a shame there weren't more of us. The album is fantastic, musically they were better than ever- I can't believe that all the BNL fans from a couple of years ago have suddenly abandoned them just because Steve left? That can't be right, surely?

I agree wholeheartedly with lochislair - terriffic show, but such a shame the crowd wasn't bigger. I was there in 2007 and the atmosphere was phenomenal. last night the atmosphere was good by those of us that were there, and to be fair to the band they gave it their all nevertheless, but I felt for the band somewhat. Hope the rest of the tour is better attended, coz they deserve it!
I was very impressed with Joel Plaskett (unfortunately arrived just in time to see Boothby walk off stage - shame, coz he was great last time), and it was nice to have a chat with him after his set. I may well see him again in London in November.
As for the BNL set, I thought it was blinding! the banter and improv was top notch - loved Ed's sandwich story - and thanks to the namecheck given to Liam and this site I've registered today!
if I can, I'll try to get to the Apollo - anyone know if it's sold out?

if you haven't seen BNL on this tour yet, and you're undecided, then take my advice and GO! And take some friends with you!!

Question: I don't know the origin of the ALcohol song - can someone fill me in on this? Ta very much.

They were fantastic last night! The crowd were a bit quiet to start with but slowly picked up as BNL were due to come onstage. I was also hoping they would still be great without Steve but they really were fantastic. Now I REALLY wish I could go to the London show :-(

Also, just wondered if anyone knew why they weren't selling the usb's of the shows last night and if I'll be able to order it online at a later date? I only have bad phone recordings of bits of it.

Thanks :-) Bernie.
