Not a good start to the season for Newcastle, but then again that's probably the toughest fixture we'll have all season. Typical that it was the first game! To be honest, I saw enough to suggest we'll survive. Staying up has to be our priority and I think we'll do that - we have enough decent players, and the spirit seemed good against Utd. Even at 3-0 down, we were still going at them. Carroll should've buried his header but I still think he'll pick up from where he left off last season and bang a few in. C'mon the Toon! :D

Wrong my friend. Chelsea will. Because Chelsea can attack you from anywhere, that's how we scored the most goals ever in a season last year. Newcastle did look good but I'm still worried about how you let 3 in. You just didn't close up at the back. Hopefully you'll stay up because Newcastle are too big a club with too good a fan base to be in the Championship.

I'm looking forward to Chelsea's game this weekend, I have an agreement with my manager that I don't have to be at work when Chelsea play. Also I'm expecting Drogba to get a few points for my fantasy football team.

I have been in Spain for the last 2 weeks so havent been to watch the mighty pool yet, although did watch the minor blip that was the Arsenal game on TV while over there, not a bad start for us and we were a tad unlucky not to get 3 points today but 4 from 3 aint bad keep it up all season and we will stay up.

great result for Blackpool yesterday (sorry Liam) I made the 3 hour drive to Newcastle and it was well worth it. Champions league spot at the moment. :D
