At the moment I am staying with my Nana and Papa in the Borders after having been at the Traditional music festival here :).
Going on proper holidays on Saturday to Derbyshire :D

Gee, I don't know how you can do chemistry as a job, it would actually kill me

Not that much chemistry involved really, more analytical science.

Derbyshire sounds good (I live there) although its very overcast here at the moment :(

Well done on the A#s mate, and I hope the Bueno was awesome too.

Forget to add my Good Thing last week.

I got a football article posted on the Scottish Website STV, it's the Scottish version on ITV

have a look if you want

http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-p ... opponents/

Don't expect anyone to read it, but it made me very happy

Was mightily impressed with that happy news sunshine.

Happy and good things for me?...

My fortnight of hols resulted in seeing the amazing Five Guys Named Mo at the Edinburgh Fringe, meeting Phil Jupitus and Mike McShane... oh and performing as an actual Fringe festival performer in a combined choir on the Royal Mile.

Oh, and the awesome Baileys' and Cherry Choco Crunch ice cream cone I had yesterday at Stewart Tower Dairy.

Mmmmmmm.

What has been good today ( or at least the last 2 days )

My 7th grader tells me she needs $5 for science, $20 for gym $58 for her choir uniform and I'm flat broke. ( only one needed immediate is gym which, yesterday in church, some friends gave her ). I always rely on the Lord to provide.

coming up.... my youngest turns 7 :!: ( Friday Sept. 3 )

Cheers for that matey. Here's a better video with a view snippets of the set we did (and on a completely self serving note I appear on the far left at 50 seconds in... black jacket/shaved head).

I finally finished a job app after a bit of a numpty moment. I just hope it's good enough to get a shot at interview, it's the first job I have applied for since i graduated THREE years ago that actually wants someone with an English degree... No one usually values us.

My lovely boyfriend finally got a great job after shock redundancy when Borders went under. Which starts right before our wee jaunt to Glasgow which is sod's law but dead chuffed for him.

My friend also got a new job, which she so deserves.

I have a flexi day off work next week, then it's only a week and a half until I have a full week off. YAY!

Oh, and I start a sliversmithing evening course at my old uni in 5 weeks and I am so excited.

There's been a LOT of rubbish stuff happening lately so I am trying to keep it upbeat, no matter how small the upbeat thing may be.

Gib! Congrats on the STV article, that's ace news!

Just found out my other half decided to lay-away a laptop at the pawnshop. Should have it in time for Holidays if were lucky... ( don't have a computer at home right now.)

This weekend is most definitely going to be good for me. The boyfriend is staying round Thursday so we can watch UFC all day and night (I have 4 events to catch up on). Friday we're going back to his as we're going to Laughs in the Park in St Albans in the evening. It's Eddie Izzard, Dylan Moran & Reginald D Hunter, should be good. And then we're back to mine on Saturday to watch the Arsenal game (HE'S the Arse fan, I'm a Chelsea girl myself), then we're going out in the evening to the indie night with my housemates and a uni mate who's on a year placement. Should be fun fun fun :D
