Steven Page has been busy since leaving the band in February.

His album with the Art of Time Ensemble, titled “A Singer Must Die,” hits stores on Feb. 16 with a 12-date tour following on Feb. 24.

A Page solo album is to be released later this year.

Very much looking forward to the new stuff from Steve. Probably the solo album in May moreso, but both should be good. Hope he comes over these shores sometime soon, would love to catch a solo show.

Im really looking forward to see Steve's solo stuff, I always really liked his voice and im afraid I may miss it on the upcoming BNL album, however ... this may lessen then that as I can hear his voice on this album.

really couldnt give a monkeys about Februarys album - the cover - a singer must die? Is awful and his version of tonight we fly is a massive let down. I may give the may one a listen tho

The May release is going to be great! That's the one I'm REALLY looking forward to - although I'm sure I'll enjoy A Singer Must Die too. :)

In all fairness I know I will by both of them but if I'm honest I'm not sure I really want to. I am pretty excited about the solo album as he sang some new songs at Festival of Friends in August and they were pretty dam good! It pains me to say :(

The Feb release I have heard a few recordings of some of the songs and I hate the taxi ride one! Just my opinion.

Steve has a new online shop at www.stevenpageshop.com, where you can pre-order a signed copy of the Art of Time album.

I believe a new site is in the works too! It will make you go "swit-swooooo". :)

Listening to the art of time ensemble album samples - Possibly the worst album i have ever let myself listen to. I want to buy it - but i can't bring myself to pay for it... i thought you couldnt go wrong with an ensemble!

Harsh verdict! I just think it's so different to what we're used to hearing from him that it takes a bit of adjusting to. I do agree that I think I will much prefer the 'proper' solo album in May, but I always find Steve's voice enjoyable to listen to, so I think this album will be pretty fun too.

I hope that some of the new stuff in May includes stuff that surfaced at the time of Vanity project like Overjoy, which I love listening to on youtube. Giving a singer must die a miss though, although I rathered enjoyed running out of ink.

Does anybody know what his Album will be called in May? There has been little new on it as of late and I just hopped over to stevenpage.com and in the bio he mentions his "Solo Album" and theres a TM next to it!! Could it simply be called Solo Album?

I think that was tongue in cheek with the TM, just a joke, but I could be wrong.

I heard the album is more likely to come out September-time now, which is a shame. But I'm sure it will be worth the wait!

Does anyone know when this one is due now?

Ive only heard the samples of 'A singer must die' and I reckon a full listen or two will sway my opinion.

Really looking forward to the Solo Album
